1 Welcome to WireProperty.com
If you need an internet identity, we're here to help you. We have a large collection of top quality domain names including a unique collection of "actual word" domains. Many of these names have been nurtured for almost a decade in a long-term investment portfolio.
2 Why get an Internet Identity ?
If you're starting a new company or venture, you will need a strong identity that is instantly memorable in your customers minds. Consider for example the advantage of having www.WireProperty.com on a House For Sale sign instead of a phone number. Domain names give you the world exclusive right to have control over the content displayed when someone enters your domain word or words on the Internet as a fixed address.

3 Why buy Dot Com ?
".Com" stands for commerce. Although originally for the US market (now a separate ".us" extension), Dot Com has become universally adopted as the domain for international identity. The phrase "Dot Com" is now so well known that advertisers no longer have to actually explain that (for example) "flowers.com" is in fact a web site. Advertising "flowers.to" instead might actuate the need to say "www.flowers.to" (try saying that verbally) and/or "flowers.to web site". The words "Dot Com" appear so frequently as to be self promoting, for example often appearing in newspaper articles etc to infer Internet commerce. As ".Com" is the default domain extension, the ".com" does not interfere with the impact of your domain word or words but enhances them by endorsing your exclusive right for the association of those words with the Internet.

4 What investment potential is there in names ?
As the world becomes aware that the internet is a superb communication tool and virtual retail environment, the technology will improve but the names won't change. Currently, web names are undervalued. Even personalised number plates have a higher value than equivalent domain names. In terms of the world exclusive right you get to control the content associated with your words, they are at least comparable to trademarks. Consider what a good investment it would have been to have bought property in downtown Manhattan before it was developed. A quality Dot Com name is as good as owning property and as yet, the Internet is still in its infancy with names often being exchanged at bargain prices compared to their potential value. Like real-estate property, domain names have a minimum "intrinsic value" -- i.e.: real estate will always be useful and similarly domain names will always give you the right to control content associated with your words. By contrast, shares and other financial commodities can become zero value as they have no intrinsic value of their own. In the credit crunch of 2008 and resulting recession of 2009, domain names appear to have held their value, probably because they are seen as a safe haven due to this intrinsic value.

5 Why don't I just register my trading name ?
Of course you can and should if you have an established recognised trading name. However, this is not a substitute for a memorable name unless it is itself a memorable name that has not already been claimed by somebody else for the world exclusive right.
